Commermorative Fishwives Competition

To celebrate the first ever Ladies Golf Competition held on the Musselburgh Links 200 years ago for local fishwives, Musselburgh Links Ladies Golf Club are holding an Open Greensome for Ladies with an LGU handicap of 36 or less and an Invitational Champion of Champions Scratch Competition on these same Links.

Both events are to be held on 25th June 2011 and are open to spectators.  All proceeds from the day will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust (Scotland) Ltd.

The Greensome will be held in the moring from 8.00am and from 1.00pm the Invitational Champions of Scratch Competition will take place.

This is adequate parking adjacent to the new Pavilion which offers a wonderful viewpoint.  The Stables Pavilion Cafe will be open all day for competitior and spectators alike for refreshments.  This will also host a golf exhibition in the foyer and upper floor meeting room.
